SHB have a robust maintenance regime in place for all vehicles managed by our dedicated compliance team. The team are split into pro-active and reactive with the former handling all scheduled maintenance and the latter handling any impromptu maintenance. The central maintenance team in our Romsey Head Office manages all support activities from booking routine services to ensure our vehicles are serviced annually; PMIs and safety inspections are carried out along with all ancillary equipment.
The Compliance team pro-actively work with our customers all over the UK to manage all maintenance scheduling and reminders through our Incident Management System, Kerridge. We keep our customers aware of any impending dates and that the work is carried out to confirm the vehicle remains compliant and legal.
We provide on-site servicing, which has been developed to reduce vehicle and operative downtime. We are authorised by leading manufacturers to carry out our own servicing and warranty work and many of our vehicles carry vehicle diagnostic systems enabling us to repair vehicles that would otherwise require dealer attention.
Our breakdown and maintenance support line operates 24/7 and 365 days a year and our experienced Maintenance Team will log the details onto our Incident Management system before deciding on the best and quickest solution in order to resolve the incident. On receipt of a breakdown we can confirm attendance within 60-90 minutes of a call out.
Our dedicated team of 55 mobile technicians are trained to carry out onsite repairs and maintenance to our rental fleet as well as to client owned assets to help reduce vehicle downtime. We are authorised by leading manufacturers to carry out our own servicing and warranty work and many of our vehicles carry diagnostic systems and fast moving spares enabling us to repair vehicles that would otherwise require dealer attention. Our local depots have full workshop facilities providing full servicing, inspections, repairs, MOTs and major breakdown work.
The majority of our depots have body shop repair facilities. We can work with our clients on any shared workshop locations and transfer and management of workshops. We are also able to provide customers with R & M packages to fit your needs.
